Emma Howard

Emma’s practice and study of yoga began in London in 1991 with the British Wheel of Yoga, she continued her practice in Hong Kong under several tutors and qualified as a teacher at The International Sivananda Yoga Vendanta Centre, Canada in 2002.

Emma trained as a dancer in London in 1988, and has worked professionally in the UK,  Europe and Asia. She has used this background alongside her knowledge of  Pilates, Feldenkrais Techniques, Butoh and The Alexander Technique to enrich her Yoga her teaching.

Her teaching experience extends to all ages and abilities. Emma feels strongly that students need physical as well as mental guidance throughout their classes. Her classes are fun, gentle and inspiring as she seeks to develop and extend each individuals’ joy of yoga.
